Influenced by the Impressionists, Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven, and many Artists of today, Kim Pollard listens to the rhythm of her own steps but owing much of her technical skills, knowledge and development through University studies, numerous workshops and experimentation. Kim Pollard was born 'with brush in hand' in 1965 in Vancouver British Columbia, Canada. She is an Active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and is a member of the G-10 life study group, a fellowship of artists that meet to exercise their visual skills and a forum for thought stimuli and inspiration.
